Budget Billing
Do you experience seasonal highs and lows in your electric use? If you are like a lot of our members, your electric bills fluctuate with the seasons. Generally, your bills are higher during the summer and winter months.
Would receiving an electric bill for approximately the same amount each month help you with your budget? Most of us have a limited budget and unexpected high bills are difficult to deal with. Budget Billing from Ozark Electric Cooperative will levelize your electric billing.
How does it work?
We will take your average electric use over the last 12 months and bill that amount. Each month your 12 month average electric use will be updated with the current month. Your monthly bill statement will show your actual use and billing amount along with the Budget Billing amount that will be payable.
Who is eligible?
- Residential Members
- Members can rent or own their home
- You must have received service at the requested location for 12 months
- You cannot have been disconnected for a delinquent payment
